Doesn't seem that long ago that he was our best player and we were all convinced he would leave, then didn't. But the way he behaved in that last season meant he deserved the stick he got when he came back.

Matthew Upson comes from Eye, which is the other side of the river. He did go to school in Diss, but I'm pretty bloody certain it was a state school not a public school.
